Dot NET Domains

When the .NET generic top-level domain extension was initially introduced in 1985, together with the first domains on the web, it was planned to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure entities. As there were no particular conditions about the usage of the top-level domain, though, .NET domains were booked and used for diverse purposes and by a lot of people. This TLD is a great alternative to .COM, notably if the necessary domain with the latter TLD is not available for registration.

Registering a .NET domain with our firm is easy and takes only a couple of minutes, given the fact that we are partners with an ICANN-approved registrar firm. You can get such a domain for a time interval between one and ten years, or, if you already own a domain, you can move it over to our company and we will renew it after the transfer process is finalized. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least 60 days old, provided that they are not locked and that you have received an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures set up by the Registry to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS contact information of the domain through your Control Panel, or, if you don’t want this information to be public at all, you can buy a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to obtain your true contact information.

The .NET domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can decide if you want to target a particular country or territory using a domain name in the native language, or the global online community – using a generic English name.
